Best of the best, would rate them a 6/5 stars if I could!Posted on Chantel MeyerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Back in August 2023, we had a 4000 pound oak tree limb free-fall 10 feet on to our house destroying our roof, windows, living room and part of our chimney. We called Cadwell & Co. to come take a look. When Marty came by he relayed it was a decent sized project but assured us that he could get the job done in a timely manner. He immediately set up for all the contractors to come over, look around and come up with some quotes. Once our project started, Marty had the contractors stacked one after another. Not only was Marty on site daily communicating with us and the contractors, He was readily available for any questions that came up when he was off the job site. Once all the structural damage and drywall was fixed, We started talking to Lindsey about interior and exterior paint colors, fireplace facade, and living room furniture and decor. Lindsey has such a wonderful eye for design. She put together 3 mood boards for us to view. She was so kind to text with us, call back and forth, and go over countless ideas with us. In the end, we left everything up to her. She created the most perfect living room for us. Something that we could have never put together ourselves! We also had Lindsey pick out our exterior paint colors. She brought over some sample for us to view. Like before, we decided to have Lindsey pick the colors based off of her vision for our house. Marty and Lindsey are the true dream team. Not only husband and wife, but amazing business partners too. They work so well together relaying information between the construction and interior design aspects of their company. They were both willing and ready to help us put our house back together in a timely manner. We had presented them with a huge project that they saw through from start to finish. We can not say enough about this power couple. Cadwell & Co. is the perfect all inclusive company for your next project!Posted on John MTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Awesome power couple! Lindsey’s attention to detail was next level. I was incredibly pleased with the services and support I received from Marty Mohamed at Cadwell & Co. He was very communicative and always available, but I was most impressed with his fair representation of me as the buyer when he was also representing the seller. I would highly recommend his services.Posted on Amy SpencerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Lindsey interior design skills are second to none! I can not recommend them enough! You will not be disappointed!
Many homeowners know what they like, but they struggle to put all the pieces together. An interior designer creates a cohesive plan that ties everything together.
Designers help with:
Defining your style
Creating mood boards and layout concepts
Choosing colors, lighting, and materials
Selecting furniture and décor that fit your home
Ensuring each room flows together
This vision keeps the project on track and prevents costly mistakes.
Homes on the Central Coast often have unique layouts — open floor plans, older floorplans, or custom builds. An interior designer understands how to maximize the functionality of every square foot.
They analyze how you use your space and then design solutions that fit your lifestyle.
For example, they can help:
Create better traffic flow
Add storage solutions
Improve lighting placement
Adjust room usage
Make small rooms feel larger
Better space planning makes daily living easier and more enjoyable.
We work throughout the Central Coast, including:
Paso Robles, Templeton, Atascadero, San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay, Los Osos, Arroyo Grande, Grover Beach, Nipomo, and surrounding communities.
If you’re planning a project and need accurate guidance before you invest more time or money, we’re here to help.
Interior designers have access to trade-only suppliers, exclusive furniture lines, and higher-quality materials that are not available in retail stores. This means your home can achieve a custom, elevated look without the guesswork.
Designers also coordinate with:
Contractors
Painters
Cabinet makers
Flooring installers
Electricians
Window treatment specialists
This ensures the project runs smoothly and saves you time and stress.
Many homeowners think hiring an interior designer is too expensive, but in reality, designers often save money in the long run.
They help prevent costly errors such as:
Buying furniture that doesn’t fit
Choosing the wrong materials
Poor lighting placement
Mismatched finishes
Inefficient layouts
A designer brings experience, planning, and clarity — making your investment go further.
A professionally designed home stands out in photos and in person. Whether you’re planning to sell soon or want long-term value, good design increases buyer appeal and boosts resale value.
Homes with updated interiors often:
Attract more buyers
Photograph better for online listings
Sell faster
Sell for higher prices
On the Central Coast, where homes vary widely in style and age, interior design can be a major differentiator.
A good designer learns how you live — not how you should live — and then shapes the environment around your needs.
They consider:
Family dynamics
Storage needs
Entertaining habits
Work-from-home requirements
Personal style preferences
The result is a home that feels comfortable, beautiful, and uniquely yours.
Design professionals predict a major shift toward natural wood, earthy tones, and functional zones — useful for sections of your article about design improving lifestyle and value.
Modern interior design ideas highlight how everyday functional spaces — like kitchen islands — can become central gathering areas in a home, justifying investment in professional design.
